CHAIR AEROBICS are basically exercises that you can perform whilst either free standing or holding onto the back of the chair for balance or sitting in the chair depending on your ability or disability. We have a professional Fitness Instructor GARFIELD LIBURD. The exercises are good for keeping mobile, posture and improving balance but we also have a laugh and it is fun, and if you can't do an exercise due to any problems, e.g. back, neck, arm, knee etc, Garfield will adapt the exercise for you. The classes are beneficial, sociable and suitable for everyone. The group has two classes Group A between 2pm-3pm followed by Group B between 3.15pm-4.15pm, and are held weekly each Friday at Waitrose, Rushden Community Room (let me know in advance please if you will be unable to attend on any week)

YOU ARE VERY WELCOME TO TRY either the 2pm or 3.15pm CLASS TO SEE IF YOU LIKE IT, the weekly class cost is £3 per person

1st EXERCISE CLASS - GROUP A starts at 2pm and finishes at 3pm

2nd EXERCISE CLASS - GROUP B starts at 3.15pm and finishes at 4.15pm

(1) Please sign into the Waitrose visitors book for fire regulation purposes, and enter your car registration number if you want to do some shopping and exceed their 2.5 hours free parking; they will give you a Waitrose sticker for security, which must be displayed on your tea shirt as you will have to go through their stores area to get to the community room. There is no need to wait for anyone as once you have signed in you can proceed straight to the community room. PLEASE REMEMBER TO SIGN OUT WHEN YOU LEAVE THE WAITROSE STORE

The community room is on the 1st floor with stairs and a lift. For more information or to join the group, please contact Sylvia Wright, Group Leader, via the Contact page.
