Country Park Walks

The Walks are Suitable for Members who want to walk at a slower pace to enjoy the scenery, and to occasionally stop for a short rest. Mostly the walks are about 2.0-2.5 miles starting at 10.30am and finishing about 12 noon. Some of the group, after the walk, enjoy lunch in a local pub. Please let me know if you would like to stay for lunch as I need to book a table (Sylvia 01933 419440)

IRCHESTER COUNTRY PARK WALK: SATURDAY 10th MARCH - as Sunday 11 March is Mothering Sunday, for this month only we will change the day of the walk from our usual Sunday to Saturday 10 March. The walk will be at Irchester Country Park, meeting in the car park near the Café for the start of the walk at 10.30am. There are pretty woodland trails through the Pine trees overlooking the spectacular quarry with Jurassic geology and it is an easy walk of about 2 miles with even hard standing paths. There is a café and toilets near the car park/cafe. For those members who like to enjoy lunch after the walk we will go to the Carpenters Arms, Irchester. As I will need to book a table in advance, could you please let me know if you would like to join us for lunch.

New Members are very welcome, also dogs if they are kept on a lead. Please Phone Sylvia Wright for more details
